Chiropractic Care
Chiropractic is a healthcare profession that focuses on diagnosis, treatment and prevention of biomechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system, with special emphasis on the spine.

It is a non-surgical, drug-free therapy to effectively improve performance, health and wellbeing.

Chiropractic treatment involves safe, gentle, specific spinal manipulation to free joints in the spine or other areas of the body that are not moving properly, to reduce pain, improve function and increase mobility. It has been proven in clinical trials to be effective in relieving low back pain, and can also relieve the pain of upper back and neck problems, as well as many other conditions.
McTimoney Chiropractic technique uses a whole body approach and focuses on facilitating optimum movement and function of the musculosketal system. The adjustments used are high velocity low amplitude (HVLA) and therefore gentle but very precise. The treatment involves no large twisting manoeuvres of the spine or sharp rotation of the neck.

Soft tissue techniques are often incorporated into the chiropractic treatment sessions and medical acupuncture is sometimes used in conjunction if indicated and with patient consent.

Alongside manual therapy, exercise and lifestyle advice are included where necessary.
Sports Massage by Andrei
Sports massage combines targeted techniques and stretches to improve performance, aid recovery, and reduce the risk of injury. Each session is personalised to your sport, activity level, or lifestyle, helping you move better and feel stronger.
Using advanced techniques like trigger point therapy, soft tissue release, and compressions, the therapist will focus on tight or overworked muscles. This helps muscles relax, recover faster, and enhances flexibility, endurance, and overall
performance—both before and after activity.
Sports massage isn’t just for athletes. Anyone experiencing muscle tension, aches, or stiffness can benefit. It also works well alongside other treatments, including Chiropractic care, to support overall musculoskeletal health.
According to NICE (the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence), massage is recommended to help manage back pain, alongside manipulation and mobilisation.
Regular sports massage can increase joint range of motion, improve circulation, reduce muscle tension, ease anxiety, and promote better sleep. It also helps flush out metabolic waste, supporting faster recovery and overall wellbeing.
