Meet Abi

Hi, I'm Abi McGuinness

Human & Animal Chiropractor

MChiro, MMCA

GCC Registration no: 04313

I qualified from McTimoney College of  Chiropractic in 2015 gaining a

Master’s Degree (MChiro) in Chiropractic. Upon graduation, I was awarded the Deans prize for research, sponsored by the Royal College of Chiropractors. I am registered with the General Chiropractic Council and a member of the McTimoney Chiropractic Association.

Alongside McTimoney chiropractic technique, I use joint mobilisation techniques, Neuro Muscular soft tissue technique, Medical Acupuncture, and have a particular interest in pain science. I am also qualified to perform Epley Manoeuvre (the gold standard technique for the treatment of Benign Positional Paroxysmal Vertigo, also referred to as BPPV). All of these techniques, as well as exercise/self-care advice, are integrated into the treatment, where appropriate.

Continually seeking ways to achieve long term solutions to acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, I regularly attend post graduate courses to advance my knowledge and stay current in diagnosis and treatment methods.

What my clients say

“ Abi came out to look at one of our polo ponies who wasn’t right following an old injury. The change in her was overnight and she was back to her normal self. She gave us great advice on how to help her. She has since treated more of our horses."
